For this final week I once again delved more into working with code in which I made improvements to my currency converter by making into be able to convert to more than one type of currency. This will continue to further my knowledge in to IT while also increasing my chances into getting a job. I have also continued my research into becoming a PR Representative which through this I have learned that to be I PR Rep I must be resilient and persistent being able to push my way through any obstacle I come across which in this case would probable be to dealing with difficult situations and forging onwards in my endeavors.

This week I have furthered my research into coding during lesson. In the lesson we continued working on the display text button going into what else could be changed in the properties of it and then we went onto to creating a conversion type thing changing British pounds to American dollars. This will be useful in me getting a job as 1 it has furthered my knowledge in IT and 2 it is always useful to be able to work at conversion rate as a general skill. This week I also spoke with Tom Sidebottom more about creating a CV or in my case updating one going through proper CV etiquette and how I can improve my CV.

This week I have began to further my knowledge into coding once again through lesson as this week we expanded on what we leaned in the last coding lesson continuing to work on the chat bot thing and we also changed from BBC Basic to C# in Visual Studios creating a simple button that displayed text. This obviously will help my chances in getting a job as it furthers my knowledge in IT and Computing. I have also continued my research into becoming a PR Representative and from this research I have found out that to be a PR Rep I need to be able to pay close attention to small details as that could be the difference between a good or bad story for the client.

This week I have continued my research into learning about becoming a PR Representative from this I learned that in order to be a PR Rep you must have a atmosphere of confidence in what you do as the main thing for a PR Rep is spinning stories to work in your clients favor so you need to look confident with your story to make it seem believable. I have also furthered my knowledge into computing by through lessons learning about coding and how to create simple codes in BBC Basic like a chat box. This will better my chances of getting a job in the future as it has given me more abilities in the field of computing that could prove useful.

This week I have research some work experience that I could do in the local area that would help my cause towards getting a job in the computing industry. I have done some more research on what is required in order to become a PR Representative and I learned that you have to be able to stay calm under pressure as obviously some time the job will require you to be under some pressure. When I had Tom Sidebottom this week we learned about CV writing which I believe will help me in the process in finding work experience.

This week I have spoken to Doug about the kinds of IT skills I will need in order to be a PR Representative and I have found out that I need to be very familiar with the newest forms of social media to be able to hear of any recent news that might effect who you are working for. I have also continued my research into ways I can further my knowledge into IT in which I found out that with the right qualifications I could move onto level 4 computing which would do that.

This week I looked at universities to see if any specialized in what I want. I also spoke with Tom Sidebottom about possible employment in the IT industry. I also continued my research into being a PR Representative learning more about the requirements to be one and I leaned that you need to have good people skills in order to be one. I had also found out that the average pay for a PR Representative is £43000.

I have researched continued my research on being a PR representative and how it fits into computing. I have also been studying about Logic Gates and how they operate in things. We even touched on some more complex Logic Gates. This has improved my knowledge of IT and will allow me to use this to help my chances of getting a career in IT. I spoke with Doug about what other thing I will need in IT in order to get a job in it.

This week I researched about the different jobs and further education to go onto from computing. From this I learned that a good way to go is to try and get a job as a PR representative or go onto level 4 computing. I have been on the look out for potential jobs in the computing industry that would have a link into possibly being a PR Representative. I have spoken with Tom Sidebottom to see if he know any way I would go about finding job in computing industry.
